Solved

solo 6x10 errors

Matt Cimino shared this problem 3 years ago

Doing a reload of the Bluecherry DVR server, ubuntu 64-bit. Using a ubuntu server install or the Bluecherry distro install disk, receiving errors with solo6010-dkms, unable to find the file, and downloading directly from github would not work either. Was able to download a .deb but the install bombed. A working method of installation is required.

Matt,

What errors do you get running "sudo apt-get install solo6010-dkms"?

Could you try the previous version of the driver:

sudo apt-get install solo6010-dkms=2.4.6-5

(this will also require you to downgrade the server using "sudo apt-get install bluecherry=1:2.0.3-1").

If this computer is accessible over ssh I can look at it directly.

Thanks,

Alex.

I have multiple 32-bit camera systems down from driver update failures with the same results as Matt on 10.04 and 12.04 systems. Do you have a driver link for these also?
