Problems setting a directory for "Manage Storage Location"

Antivanity shared this question 9 months ago

When i set the location, it errors at me about permission problems

However i am able to write/read to it without issue under the bluecherry user. This is a NFS share from a freenas server. I created a bluecherry user and group with the same IDs at the bluecherry user/group on the debian install.

Any ideas ?

  1. $ pwd
  2. /mnt/security_cameras/recordings
  3. $ whoami
  4. bluecherry
  5. $ touch test
  6. $ ls -la
  7. total 2
  8. drwxr-xr-x 2 bluecherry bluecherry 3 May 22 16:57 .
  9. drwxrwxrwx 5 bluecherry bluecherry 5 May 22 16:32 ..
  10. -rw-r--r-- 1 bluecherry bluecherry 0 May 22 16:57 test
  11. $ echo 'neato' > test
  12. $ cat test
  13. neato
  14. $
